Hi Everyone,

Another landmark week and weekend of racing has passed for Enduranceteam.  We scored our latest ITU Winner, we had our 18th athlete qualify for the 2014 Hawaiian Ironman and we had the Open winners at the Western Suburbs Triathlon Club Duathlon.  It was a great week for the entire team and the coaches.

This week again, they don’t come much bigger.

We have Sarah Lester, Nick McGuire, Jeremy Drake, Chloe Butt and James Chronis all racing at the ITU Continental Cup in Shizuishan, China.  This will be Sarah Lester and Nick McGuires final race for Enduranceteam as part of a team re-structure in details about to be publicly announced shortly. by Jarrod Evans on May 31, 2014

Hi Everyone,

Great week of training from everyone in all our groups.  Enduranceteam and Geelong Triathlon Coaching run over 30 sessions each week in Geelong and keeping track of all this is a difficult task as we can have up to 40athletes racing in 10different events all over Geelong and the world so its important that in these newsletters each squad is represented with reports on their athletes and we try and do that each and every week.

This week we have from an ITU perspective we have Enduranceteam elite athlete, Sarah Lester is taking off for an ITU Continental Cup in Mauritius before quickly heading back home only to take off again with 4 of her team mates, James Chronis, Nick McGuire, Chloe Butt and Jeremy Drake who are all racing the ITU Premium Conti Cup in China next weekend.  It should be a great couple of weeks of racing.  From the China race, James, Sarah and Nick all take off to commence their racing seasons in Europe which will be a great experience for them all. Hi Everyone,

Well the warm weather, even with the change of season is still hanging around in Victoria which as been great to see and feel.  It certainly makes for more enjoyable training.

All our athletes are now back into full training for next season but we also have a great group of athletes focussing on the Cairns events coming up in June with the 70.3 and Ironman.  We have some great prospects competing including Hawaii bound athletes, Nancy Cullen, Amos Gollach and Jenny Hart as part of their training.  We also have a great crop of athletes looking to smack the 70.3 around and place something red hot on the board including AG animal Nathan Ashton who has demolished this course on a few occasions. It will be a great race. Read Full Article

The Victorian domestic season has finally come to an end over the weekend and we finished off with some great results.  All are listed below in the coaching reports.  As many of you know triathlon is not just a seasonal sport anymore and we still have Ironman athletes in training for Port Maq, Cairns and we also have our professional athletes still aiming for races on an international scale as there main season differs slightly from the Victorian domestic stuff.  Triathlon is a year round sport now. End of Season Party
Hi Everyone,

Another great weekend of training and racing done and dusted and well done to all athletes and coaches involved in the results achieved.

A couple of special mentions right off the bat this week for performances over the weekend.

Belinda Hadden – It was great to see her back racing at XTerra after a long lay and she managed to have a great result and get her spot at the 2014 XTerra World Champs in Maui.

Shari Livingston – What an upcomer this girl is becoming and getting ever closer to the top of the podium.  Next season will be a great season if she sticks at it.

Kurt McDonald – What can you say!  At 15years old and racing his first elite event and getting 9th overall and winning ITU Junior, are we seeing the birth of something special here?

Linda Solly – Almost in a class of her own in this age group.  Great work Linda and it is testament to your consistent hard work. Read Full Article
