"I contacted Jarrod Evans because I needed a change to my training approach. I was sick of coming top 10 in my age group at local triathlons. He taught me about hard work as well as what it takes to be a perfect athlete. It only took 2 1/2 years of his guidance and support to for me to become Age Group Ironman World Champion. He is a wealth of knowledge and I am truly grateful for what his has helped me to achieve."

“As an online athlete, the choice of online coaches is vast to say the least. Without restriction of location and with communication made simple via email, the choice isn’t even limited to Australia.
My initial decision to join Enduranceteam.net was based on their proven track record and also through a couple of friend’s recommendations.
I can now say, that with over 2 years with Jarrod Evans and Enduranceteam.net, I choose to stay based on the confidence and success I have had with the program and the relationship I have developed with Jarrod as coach.
Important to me is the assurance that the coach is one step ahead, in terms of new methodologies and training techniques. My program is tailored to my specific goals and abilities and I know that if I stick to and follow the program, I’ll achieve success. My results in the past two years are testimonial to this.
Of added value is having Jarrod Evans attending many of my interstate and international races, offering the opportunity for race day support and timely, relevant technique appraisal.”

"I feel priviledged to be able to say that I have been a part of enduranceteam.net and the coaching of Jarrod Evans since its beginning in 1996.
In that time, the progression of the Team thanks to Jarrods guidance and hard work is nothing short of AMAZING.
These programs are second to none and you just cant argue with results.
The Highlights for me have been the perfect mix of "fun" and "hard work" I can always trust will provide the desired result everytime.
I thank Jarrod for all the time he has spent helping me over the years, my Triathlon "YODA" ...His constant drive to improve himself as an Athlete, Coach and Person inspires me to do the same. I look forward to the coming years and the step up to Ironman racing.
Enduranceteam.net has become a team that athletes of all ages and abilities can be proud and excited to be a part of."

In late 2009 I first contacted enduranceteam.net seeking coaching in the pursuit of some optimistic goals – A podium place at National Championships and to turn professional.
From the first email it was made clear the path to success, what was expected of me, what I would receive and what was possible if I applied myself. As a correspondence athlete living in the Northern Territory where limited access to high level competition and the extreme weather add to the challenges of distance. Through this, communication was key and daily email updates were expected and responded to – despite being on thousands of kilometres apart I have access to all the information and feedback I need.
Within 2 months of commencing on the enduranceteam.net system I won the Australian Olympic Distance Age Group Championship, and, 12 months further on I was awarded my Open Professional licence.
Jarrod Evans and the team have done everything I asked and more, he has spurred me on and directed me carefully and methodically to successes I wanted but had no idea how to reach. The enduranceteam.net service goes beyond expert knowledge of how to swim, ride and run – being an athlete is a lifestyle and Jarrod manages the everyday ups and downs of an athlete’s life with empathy and sets minds at ease. There are no surprises, no problem to big or small and somehow, someway, just when I think I cannot take anymore, just as he says it will, everything falls into place.
From the training programs, weekly newsletter and constant flow of information and reading materials to race days, training camps and everything in between we share a love of this sport which shines through in everything Jarrod and the team do. It is a pleasure to be a part of this team and I look forward with great optimism to what we can achieve in the future.

I initially contacted Jarrod in January 2011 on the recommendation of a good mate Ian Roduner who is also coached by correspondence by Jarrod.
I initially discussed my goal with Jarrod which was to qualify for Ironman World Championship Kona 2011 (Which I am sure he hears quite a bit) Jarrod slotted me into his correspondence program after a spot become available starting in March 2011.
From the outset Jarrod was upfront with his requirements of me. His training programs/systems are detailed, structured and his communication and feedback is almost instant either via phone or email.
He has great belief in the athlete’s ability and instils a strong work ethic along with persistence & consistency.
I recently raced Ironman UK in July 2011, won my age group in 35-39, finished 13th overall and had personnel bests in all 3 disciplines and qualified for Ironman World Champion Kona 2011 so say no more…….
I would like to thank Jarrod for everything he has done for me and would recommend him to any level of athlete because you will still get the same level of planning, dedication & commitment.
Thanks again mate

I have been with Jarrod for 13 months now via correspondence. Another two athletes from my area highly recommended him to me. I would and I do highly recommend Jarrod as a coach to anyone. I love following his programs to every metre he puts down, so at the end of the day I feel very satisfied knowing that with his coaching knowledge and my personal commitment, you will and you do get to where you want. For example when I first started with Jarrod he assessed me and asked me what my goals were. I said that I want to be making the podium in the Gatorade series (Age group 30-34). I not only achieved my goal but I also got silver at the world championships (Age group 30-34). We have now met my goals one year later and I am now reassessing my new goals with Jarrod.
I look forward to the next stage.................

“I commenced training with Jarrod Evans by correspondence in 2009 to assist with preparation to complete my first Ironman (Busselton 2009).
With Jarrod's training, guidance and professional support I have now successfully completed three Ironman events. Through his approach I have learned to train smarter, an enormous amount about nutrition and the importance of listening to your body.
Jarrod's regular presence at events provided great support and feedback. At Busselton (2010) I was forced to withdraw after the swim. I had a pretty bad mind set (I'd never had to withdraw from an event previously), Jarrod's approach enabled me to get benefit from the event, as although I was unable to complete the ride, he encouraged me to use the run a training session, something I would not have been in the frame of mind to consider myself, and I came away feeling positive after a negative start to the day.
I have no doubt that the opportunity to train with other age groupers, VIS and professional athletes not only assisted my training but boosted my confidence enormously.
I sincerely thank Jarrod and all the athletes that I have had the opportunity to train with over the past two years.”

“I first joined Jarrod’s Elite Team as a junior athlete in 2008. The most enjoyable time and one of my better results was tied in with our high altitude training camp at Jindabyne ... my following race in Canberra that season was a breakthrough race for me as I started to realize my potential through your training techniques. Coming off the bike and leading the run was an awesome experience which resulted in my first top 10 in the Australian junior ITU season. I look forward to turning professional and with Jarrod’s help forging a successful career.”

"My time under Jarrod's training system could be described as nothing short of exceptional. Almost instantaneously under his guidance, I was successfully achieving the goals I set out to, and in my first season of triathlon, came to win several races. The ability to train with a group on a day to day basis was a great motivational tool and made the whole experience as productive and enjoyable as possible. Prompt replies and a seemingly never ending supply of helpful information only further amplify what a great system it is, and i'm sure will continue to be for years to come. Without hesitation I would recommend this system to any aspiring or already established athlete."

After a 13 year gap since my first Ironman, I joined EnduranceTeam.net and Jarrod Evans - the goal, participate at Kona, Hawaii (Ironman Worlds).
3 years later, I have a 2nd place at Ironman Australia, raced the arguably the toughest Ironman on the scene (St. George, Utah) and I have been to Kona 3 times, with an age group place of 7th. With the program and guidance from Jarrod and the whole crew who train with him, the goal has shifted from participating at Kona to competing and racing at Kona.
It's not just the program you get each month, its not just the wealth knowledge that Jarrod brings with him - its the knowledge of the entire group, which make it such an incredible group of people to train with.

"For the last 10 months I have been coached by Jarrod as part of the Endurance Team Triathlon Correspondence Program; with our sole focus being Ironman Australia 2011 (my 2nd IM distance race). Jarrod’s approach was not only very professional but his training system advanced, thorough and one that considers many elements outside the traditional training approach. Although I was training via correspondence the level of interaction and feedback provided via online training tools, email and phone was excellent and more than sufficient to analyse and plan. In addition Jarrod prepared a very detailed race day plan to guide and gauge performance throughout the day. The upshot of training under Jarrod for the 10 months was a 1hr 21min PB. Give me some more of that!"

"I started under Jarrod at enduranceteam.net in late 2009 with the specific aim of qualifying for the World Ironman Championships in Hawaii 2011. I was immediately impressed by the sheer professionalism that Jarrod conveyed in our initial planning. For many years as an age group athlete I trained under my own program to how I felt or what I thought would work for me and like most athletes hit a plateau that I felt was my best. I can category say that under Jarrod’s program and guidance I have managed to shatter that ceiling and continue to get stronger & much more technically efficient. As part of the qualifying process for Hawaii 2011 the first step was to set a goal time for the 2010 Busselton Ironman.
What I found refreshing from this point forward was the structured program, the accountability, the ease of/ and direct communication to Jarrod, but most importantly he knew where I was at the whole way through the program. It was definitely a foreign feeling to me but I was completely comfortable knowing through feedback that I was on course. Jarrod was able to predict how my body would be feeling and he was on the money right up to race day, and it was at this point I felt my freshest and strongest; and the results show; qualifying for Hawaii, going 2 ½ minutes faster than the target time we had set for the day".

"I was coached by Jarrod for about 3 yrs up until about 7 yrs ago. I couldn't think of a better coach but unfortunately being from Melb it was a bit hard to make sessions etc in Geelong. The bad thing for me is I have never been coached since because I don't think I would find any other coach in his league and if I can't get the best I would rather have none!"

"Jarrod was my coach for a number of years and over this time he helped me achieve quite a few personal goals that probably surprised me more than him. He seemed to just get things right, he knew what I could do if I had the right tools. He was always looking for alternative and new forms of training techniques to give me an edge over my competitors. After hip surgery he not only helped me with my rehab but got me back training and racing competitively again despite being told that it probably wouldn’t happen."

The one thing that stands out for abouts Jarrods coaching style is his passion for his athletes.
This was never more evident than in my bid to qualify fot the Ironman World Championships at the 2008 &2009 Australian Ironman.
After a day where everything was falling into place it all fell apart in the last 5km of the run in 2008.
Jarrods disappointment was only slightly overshadowed by my own,his dismay at getting so close was followed by a determination to do it again and succeed the following year.
His elation when this happened in 2009 was clear. Tears of joy (Yes I said tears!) replaced the anguish of the previous year and i don't believe i have ever seen a happier or prouder coach.

My triathlon journey with Jarrod Evans began in 2001. In 2010, after 11 Ironman races including 2 Hawaii Ironmans, I took a break to persue other goals. During that time Jarrod had coached me from an absolute beginner in the sport to an elite level Ironman triathlete, representing Australia at both short and long course World Championships. Jarrod identified my strengths and love for Ironman racing and together as coach and athlete we achieved some great results, including a 4th at Ironman China, 5th at Ironman Malaysia, 6th at Ironman Japan and many top 10 professional Ironman and half Ironman results. Jarrod instilled a hard work ethic in me and through opportunities such as training camps, specialised coaching sessions and high performance coaching programs, he provided me with every opportunity to be the best athlete I could possibly be. My time under Jarrod and his squad was filled with great experiences, achievements and life long friendships.

I started my triathlon training with Jarrod back at the inception of the original Positive Image triathlon squad well over 10 years ago. Back then there were only 4 people in the squad. It didnt take long for the group to grow through Jarrods hard work and the results his athletes were achieving at races. Triathlon is such an addictive sport that after each race you would want to improve and there was no better environment than being amongst a group of people that all had similar goals, all feeding off each others success. During my 10 years with the squad I competed in all distances from sprint to Ironman and loved every minute of it. I made so many great life long friends, enjoyed a fun and healthy lifestyle and fulfilled so many of my sporting dreams. Thanks Jarrods for making that possible.

Since my first meeting with Jarrod over 10 years ago I was a new inexperienced member of a fitness centre . And was seeking guidance with the best way to get fit and healthy
During that time I spent with Jarrod he gave me the motivation and inspiration to try my hand at swimming as a different way to keep fit and prepared my first swimming program for me .
Six months later and with no real background in swimming I had become very proficient and was swimming for longer and faster and finishing in the Top 20 of the summers open water swimming events. It was with the results that Jarrod had brought me I had decided that a career in the fitness industry is what I wanted to do with my life after gaining my Certificate in fitness 8 years ago Jarrod was a constant
As a point of contact for me, nothing was ever a problem for him in regards to me asking him questions as he has a wealth of knowledge I can honestly say Jarrod has been a very big part of developing me in to the career I’m in now.
From starting as a gym instructor to managing large fitness centre’s running a profitable personal training company and owning a fitness centre and now senior person in the fitness industry with my advice now relied on to assist people who were just like me when I first started.
All of the above would never been a possibility had Jarrod not been a positive mentor to me in the 10 years plus I have known him and I would certainly recommend Jarrod to anyone who is looking for the impossible to become possible .

"As everybody knows the times to try and qualify for the Hawaiian Ironman are becoming harder and harder to achieve each year.
After my 4th time trying it was now or never so I looked into acquiring a coach. In June 2010 after speaking to Jarrod for the first time I totally believed I could achieve anything if I put in the hard work. Time constraints with work and a young family meant that I needed a very personalised program to utilise all my available time.
I knew after my first lead up race under Jarrod that we were on the right track. I achieved a personal best and this set the tone for the rest of my training leading up to my qualifying race in New Zealand. I went onto achieve my ultimate dream and qualified for the 2011 Hawaiian Ironman in 9hrs 20 mins and 5th in my age group. The level of support and guidance leading upto and during the event was exceptional and exceeded my expectations. I can say without hesitation that without his knowledge I would not be about to live 'the dream'"

"Jarrod Evans has," been there done that and got the T- shirt" in terms of Triathlons!! His ability to communicate and organize a Triathlete to get the best out of themselves shows in the numerous World, National and State champions of all age groups he has produced over many years in the sport. A thorough professional he is the perfect choice for athletes who set out to challenge themselves over any distance."

"I began my Journey with Jarrod Evans way back in 2006. I was competing in only my 3rd ever triathlon race at the Victorian Sprint distance championships, in what was then a part of the Protiviti series. I was playing championship state league netball at the time and was dabbling in triathlons for some fun and extra fitness in the off-season. I won my age group in that race. Jarrod, noticing my South Barwon Netball bag from Geelong, struck up a conversation with me and so the triathlon journey began!
Since that time, Jarrod’s coaching has seen me progress through placing top 10 in my first Age Group World Championships in 2006, to winning local elite gatorade races and consistent top 3 placings, to coming 3rd overall in the San Francisco marathon and more recently placing top 10 in my first international Ironman as a professional athlete.
No matter what the goal, event or aim, Jarrod has always provided me with a training program and service which is conducive to success. He knows the right formula and is completely approachable as a coach and mentor. Jarrod is such a dedicated and committed person who is always striving to achieve the best out of himself and his athletes.
And so the journey continues... "

"My name is Alex Anderson and I trained under Jarrod Evans as an elite junior for 2 and half years. I would first like to say that I would have never reached the elite level I did were it not for the expertise and guidance of Jarrod. When I started I had been swimming and riding for a few years but I didn’t really know anything about triathlons. Throughout my time with Jarrod, he not only helped me train well, but he taught me how to race well. Jarrod is a tough but fair coach, always keeping training interesting. It was a pleasure training under him and I thank him for everything he has done for me."

"I initially joined Jarrod’s squad for fun and fitness and had no concept of the extremes of both that I would experience. Under Jarrod’s precise and well planned training programs I gradually became aware of my potential to compete against the world’s best Olympic Distance athletes, which initially had not even been a dream in the back of my mind.
Jarrod doesn’t only enjoy the success of his athletes, he is continually looking for new ways to help them reach their ultimate goals. I always felt that he was fuelling my ambition and without him there to motivate and push me further I might have sat back and never seen some of the things I was capable of. And while it sounds like hard work, it was so so so much fun."

“Getting Jarrod on board as a coach was the best thing I could do, he came recommended to me when I was setting my goal of doing the World champs. We communicated openly on a regular basis. He didn’t expect me to be perfect but to be prepared to put in and I got the feeling quickly that if I did he would too. We both listen carefully to each other and Jarrod would adjust my program to suit my needs and I would push hard for him as he believed in me. He learnt what he could about me and what I was capable of doing and I learnt heaps from him. He was always patient, persistent and committed to me as I was to his program".

"The 2007 Victorian winter was as harsh as normal and the volume of training required to prepare for the Hawaii ironman means that a 'just do it' attitude is without question the state of mind you must uphold to. My training consistency had been very good, but extremely demanding and time consuming with a full time job too. Having completed virtually 99% of the training as planned by Jarrod and reaching my taper healthy, I new I would be in great shape both physically and mentally....Hawaii ironman race day would be easy compared the may-sept training I put my self through. The result………..a new PB ironman and 4th place 30-34 age group at Hawaii ironman world championships. Just amazing!!'
“Using similar strategies, some excellent strength sessions combined with unique swim, w/t, run enduro sessions the volume was absorbed, the body held up and the mind was strong leading into 2008 Australian Ironman Championships. I once again felt very confident having completed the training, and I wanted to take some risks during the race and see if we could get a new PB……….The result………….1st 30-34 and 11th overall a new PB set. Jarrod's program are relentless, and really are suited to high performance, and resilient athletes...without question I have learnt many things from my training under Jarrod, and im extremely grateful for his coaching and contribution to my athletic goals"

Jarrod's program are relentless, and really are suited to high performance, and resilient athletes...without question I have learnt many things from my training under Jarrod, and im extremely grateful for his coaching and contribution to my athletic goals"

For many years my training was adhoc and lacked purpose. This led to a lot of trash time and the mental uncertainty of not knowing if you were going in the right direction. Under Jarrod, I went to an unbelievable level of physical fitness but almost more importantly was the confidence that radiates from him. His belief in his own ability transfered to me and I believed I could do anything. Whilst I had some tremendous race days, even on my bad days there was never a case of leaving something out there. I attacked each day full of self belief. I was fit and strong, confident and positive. It was a terrific way to race and train.

"Last year, Jarrod trained me via correspondence, mostly email, text and phone for approximately 6 months. I was training up for a half ironman race at the Gold Coast. I found training under Jarrod extremely beneficial. I was pretty green and had never trained under a coach before. Jarrod was very quick to answer any questions I had, I'm sure some of them were pretty stupid. He always knew the answers and was very professional. He got me fitter and faster than I've ever been before. The conditions during the race were awful but I did a personal best time. I intend to train with Jarrod again very soon to compete in a full ironman. I would recommend him to anyone that would like to get fitter and go faster"

“If your intention is to become best triathlete you can be, whether you’re at the beginner, intermediate or elite level, then look no further than Endurance Team coaching services via squad or correspondence. I came to the sport of triathlon as a beginner in late 2004 and with Jarrod Evan’s coaching, guidance, mentorship and my incredible unwavering desire to want more, be more and do more, over the past seven years I’ve evolved into an international competing Ironman Triathlete. I’ve raced some of the biggest triathlons in the world including Ironman Australia, Ironman WA, Ironman European Championships Germany, Ironman France and Ironman Brazil. Our focus now is on qualifying for the 2012 Hawaiian Ironman World Championship through Ironman European Championships Frankfurt Germany July 2012. I have no doubt that with Endurance Teams program and my dedication that this life long dream will become manifest. Thanks Jarrod! Its been a blast!"

"The thought of completing a Half Ironman Triathlon seemed near impossible. By following Jarrod's training plan impeccably, not only could I complete my first race on the Gold Coast well (despite the flat tyre ...!!!...), but I managed to obtain an Age Grouper Gold in my second race in Shepparton. One of the best parts of my short-lived triathlon career was the long rides on Sunday morning's with a great group of athletes and an inspirational coach. I can't wait til it is time for a comeback and with Jarrod's assistance, maybe a Full Ironman will be possible one day....."

I met Jarrod at the end of 2003 whilst doing my work experience to become a personal trainer with him in his days at Waterworld. Inevitably, I was welcomed to the world of triathlon shortly after. I was very much a novice to say the least. With no swimming or riding background, to complete a mini triathlon was quite a challenge for myself so when I came to Jarrod with the crazy idea on doing an Ironman a couple of years later I believe he was quite surprised. Right from the very start, Jarrod believed that I could do it (although I doubted myself a lot) and so the Ironman journey began. Through all the ups and downs of ironman training and the long days on the road, on the track and in the pool, Jarrod was always right by my side for support and encouragement and also to give me a good push when I needed it. He always believed in me as he does with all his athletes. No matter how talented someone is, if they are willing to work hard and they are committed Jarrod will always support and put his full faith in them. This is what got me to and through my first Ironman and another 2 not long after with Jarrod at all 3 races to support and encourage.
Not only has Jarrod been a huge motivation and inspiration to me as an athlete and has helped me achieve goals that I never dreamed possible he has also professionally been a huge influence and mentor to me. I began my personal training career in 2004. Through observing his coaching methods, techniques, his motivation, passion for his athletes, the way he communicates and his work ethic, to say the least, Jarrod as pretty much taught me everything that I know and was always there to help me out whenever I needed. He has a wealth of knowledge and was always the first person that I would go to with questions and for help, he was always willing to help, nothing was ever a hassle. Jarrod also put his full support and faith in me when I became a Triathlon coach and offered me a position with endurance team coaching the first women’s beginner triathlon squad. This was a huge learning experience for me but Jarrod was by my side the whole way.
I have now coached ladies who could barely run 3 steps to run half marathons and full marathons, people who could barely swim or ride a bike to do their first triathlon and ultimately Jarrod is responsible for all this. I wouldn’t have enjoyed the success that I have as a personal trainer and coach without Jarrods guidance and mentoring.
My triathlon journey still continues but none of it would have been even at all possible without Jarrod, I cannot thank him enough for the contribution that he has made to me as an athlete and professionally.
