Triathlon coaches at www.enduranceteam.net are fully accredited and insured triathlon coaches.  All enduranceteam.net triathlon coaches have completed all relevant qualifications and training courses + more pertaining to the level of squad they are involved with. Your enjoyment and more so your safety is our number one priority. Operating 5 Tiers of coaching levels, we have effectively combined knowledge with experience to make sure all training levels are challenging and rewarding.


Jarrod Evans – Director and Head Coach (Level 3 TAHP Elite Coach)

VIS Triathlon Program Assistant Coach – Jarrod Evans has been one of the most successful triathlon coaches, in triathlon and multi-sport for over 18 years, since 2003 as a full time Professional Triathlon Coach.

Since 2004 he has worked as the assistant coach with the VIS Triathlon Program, and continues in his role of an AIS Triathlon Program Home Coach, and is one of only 7 coaches in Australia to hold Triathlon Australia High Performance Level 3 Elite Qualification. As a Professional Triathlon Coach, he has represented Australia as a Head Coach, Team Coach and Assistant Coach at numerous World Championship Series Events, World Cup and Continental Championship events.

As well as being a fully qualified swim teacher, personal trainer and gym instructor, he currently works in the Triathlon Australia High Performance Coaching framework assisting the next lot of junior elite athletes successfully make the jump to the professional world stage. Since 2002 he has also seen the cross over in the development to elite long course athletes, now coaching some of Australia’s fastest short course and long course age groupers and professionals racing today.

Not only is he well credentialed as a coach, but the below is a brief snapshot of some of his best racing results as an age group athlete and he continues to keep fit and healthy today;

Stephane Van Der Bruggen – Advanced Age Group Squad Head Coach

As an athlete, Stephane has been competing since he was 12 years old. And in 2009, at 33 years of age – he has just about covered every base in the sport of Triathlon. Racing for his home country of Belgium, he is a former junior and senior triathlon representative, and has also lined up in some of Victoria’s premier elite triathlons over the past 10 years.

He is an Australian Sprint Distance Champion, Gatorade Age Group Series Champion, a former Victorian Olympic Age Group Champion and he is a multiple Ironman finisher, and is a swim – bike specialist. He now calls Geelong home, and we are thankful he has now turned his hand to coaching to help relay some of that knowledge and experience to our athletes.

Ross Young – Dual head Coach of the Beginner and Try a Tri Squads

Ross Young, is a former elite runner and steeple-chaser. Achieving personal times for 5km and 10km in the 15min and 30min ranges he is well versed on the requirements of running fast and efficient for triathlon.

A 70.3 Age Group Champion and Hawaiian Ironman competitor, he brings of a wealth of top level running experience and technical example to our stable of coaches and we are rapt to have him on board.

Lyndal Dew – Beginner Squad Head Coach (Level 1 TA Coach)

Lyndal Dew is our newest coach, and in the 2011/2012 Season, he first position is to head up our Tri a Try and Beginner Squad Programs. Lyndal is an age group champion and in the 2010-2011 Season she won both the Gatorade Series and the X-Osize Series in the 20-24 Age Group and was also the Victorian Sprint Distance Champion in the same season.

Lyndal brings great experience from her racing, and can relate to everyone in the Try a Tri and Beginner Programs, as she started in this very program in 2009. It is great to have her on board.

Chloe Butt – Dual Head Coach of the Beginner and Try a Tri Squads

Chloe Butt is a former Elite Pool and Open Water Swimmer, making the jump to Elite Triathlon.

Chloe has won many Open Water Swim Events including a Bronze Medal at the National Open Water Championships in 2012.

Specializing in Stroke Correction, she is a valued addition to our coaching team and it is to the absolute gain of athletes attending our beginner triathlon training levels.

Tameka Day – Assistant Coach (Level 1 TA Coach)

Tameka Day was arguably Victoria’s best elite female triathlete from 2002-2007, and we are privelaged to have her on board working with our team. Tameka is a product of the enduranceteam.net system of success.

As a beginner athlete she joined our squad in 2000, and developed into a world class athlete. Between 2002-2007, she was a 5 Time Half Ironman winner, Victorian Sprint, Olympic and Longcourse Champion, multiple Victorian Gatorade Series race winner and is the last home grown Victorian to represent her country in ITU World Cup Races with Top 10 finishes.

She won an incredible number of over 100 local and interstate triathlon and multisport events. Retiring from competition in 2008, after a racing accident that cut her career short, the racing world of triathlon’s loss, is our coaching teams gain. Tameka is a wealth of knowledge and experience.


Bo Chudosnik – Assistant Coach (Level 1 TA Coach)

Bo has been with Postive Image Triathlon Team, Tri-alliance and enduranceteam.net since their inceptions. He is the most experienced of our assistant coaching staff.

Bo brings to the team over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry with qualifications to match; B.A (PE), B.Ed, Grad Dip Bus.Man, M.B.A, Dip A.

His achievements in sport are just as impressive, being a finisher of the gruelling Coolongatta Gold, and a State and National surf ironman representative. As well as working with enduranceteam.net, Bo is a career teacher at Sacred Heart and a presenter and lecturer with the Victorian Fitness Academy.
